The Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industries Philippines, Inc. (MCCI) earlier today handed over 200 Personal Protective Equipment sets, 4,000 surgical masks, 1,000 KN95 masks, 200 goggles, 14 foot bath disinfectant, and 50 isolation gowns to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council.
NDRRMC Chairperson Secretary Delfin Lorenzana joined by its Executive Director Undersecretary Ricardo Jalad, Office of Civil Defense Assistant Secretary Casiano Monilla, and OCD Director Bernardo Rafaelito Alejandro IV received the donation from MCCI through its Patron and Malaysian Ambassador Norman Muhamad, President and Co-Founder Edward Ling, Special Envoy of the President to Malaysia, Atty. Wencelito Tan Andanar, Al Haj, Malaysian Embassy Deputy Head of Mission, Rizany Irwan Muhamad Mazlan, and Malaysian Embassy Minister Counsellor Sharifah Ezneeda Wafa.
The ceremony was also joined by MCCI Vice President and Co-Founder Eric Yam, Corporate Secretary and Co-Founder Alimatar Garangan II, Executive Committee Member, How Han Hui, Secretariat Lead Hazel Parial, and MCCI Business Partner Dolly Maiztegui Cater of Polymer Link Philippines, Inc.
MCCI is the first ASEAN-member country to create a foreign business Chamber in the Philippines that aims to achieve a successful and harmonious diversity of trade and culture between Malaysia and the Philippines.

All donated PPEs of MCCI will be distributed by OCD to various hospitals in the country.
