Mega quarantine facility to rise in Subic

OCD XII conducts series of DRRM trainings for LDRRMCs

The Office of Civil Defense XII conducted a series of Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) training courses from March 14 to 20, 2021. Two batches of Online Introductory Course on DRRM were conducted for the Local DRRMOs on March 14 to 17, 2021 and a Three-Day DRRM training course for the public in General Santos City, South Cotabato and Sultan Kudarat Province on March 17 to 20, 2021.

NCR volunteers complete basic ICS training course

A total of thirty-seven (37) individuals from different volunteer organizations and Local Government Units in Metro Manila joined the training on Basic Incident Command System on March 8 to 13, 2021. The Basic ICS for Volunteers is one of the blended learning trainings organized by the Office of Civil Defense NCR for 2021. It is the first level of the ICS ladderized courses. It aims to provide the participants with knowledge, skills and attitude that are essential for the application of basic concepts and principles of ICS in any disaster situation.


Central Luzon joins 1st Quarter online NSED

Eastern Visayas starts COVID-19 vaccination

As part of the implementation of the Regional Vaccination Plan in the region, the Department of Health Eastern Visayas Center for Health Development (DOH-EVCHD) in partnership with the Regional Task Force (RTF) VIII headed by the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) VIII and other support agencies conducted the first-ever COVID-19 vaccination in the region on March 5, 2021 at the Eastern Visayas Regional Medical Center (EVRMC), Brgy. Cabalawan, Tacloban City where Doctor Salvador Evardone, EVRMC Chief of Hospital and other hospital chiefs were vaccinated.
